Can you find the Easter Eggs?

Have you found the Easter Eggs in The Sorcerer's Legacy books? If you haven't, you might want to go back and look for them. But what exactly are you looking for?

In case you don't know it already, an "Easter Egg" is a nod to a favorite influencer on a work of art. In my case, the work of art is fiction.

How do you find an Easter Egg? In this series, you're looking for two things: an object in a chapter image, and a quote in the text.

First, find an object in a chapter image that you recognize from one of my three favorite series, including Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. This is your first Eater Egg clue. It might be something obvious or it might be more subtle but you will know it when you see it. True fans of these older series may recognize the object right away. The rest of you may have to work for it.

This object lets you know that that chapter has the rest of the Easter Egg in it. The rest of the Easter Egg will be a quote from the series that the object you spotted is from. So when you spot the object, look for a familiar quote from the series it goes with as you read the chapter. Again, true fans of these older series may recognize them right away. The rest of you...well, you know.

You may find only one image-quote Easter Egg duo in a book or you may find more. The fun is in the hunt. Happy hunting!
