Meditation does more for us than calm nerves.

Kundalini meditation can help us purify our low-vibe thoughts to create a more fun life, not through bypass but through personal transformation.

For most of us, one of the hardest parts of meditating is dealing with the constant stream of thoughts that flood through our mind. Many people believe that meditation requires us to quiet our mind but this is an error. Meditation doesn't mean we quiet our mind or stop thinking. It means we stop feeding our attention and energy to the thoughts that come, because they will come.

One of my favorite chapters in Kundalini Meditation is Chapter 3 because it is here that we unpack how this practice helps us gain mastery over the constant thought streams that absorb our attention and drain our energy. Through this practice we can learn how to redirect our attention and energy in powerful ways that serve our becoming. And we can grow a capacity to transform the sticky places in our lives to things that flow freely and in more fulfilling ways.

Changing anything in our lives takes a certain amount of effort. Over 25 years ago I fell in love with the kundalini tradition of yoga and meditation because it has the potential to generate powerful results in our lives with just a little effort. These practices have been forged, refined and purified over thousands of years into a tool that can transport and transform us in big ways with minimal effort.

Guided with the wisdom in this book, learning to meditate, mastering our mind and refining our experiences in life become simple yet powerful acts that, when we begin to witness the results, we may wish we'd started long before. But we are all in the flow of Divine Timing, not human timing. I believe that life is a soul thing and that each step we take is taken at exactly the right moment for us, when we are most ready for it. And each step matters in the larger tapestry of Life's unfolding. Happy Trails!
